For a while now I have had my Play 5 Gen 1 on the S1 system linked as my default speaker when I ask Google Home to play music. I recently bought an Arc on the S2 system. When I try to set it as the default speaker for a different Google Home speaker, it makes me relink my sonos account and the S1 system disappears.

As if you can only have one of the systems linked to the google assistant at a time. Anyone found a solution to this? Or is it one or the other only?

It is one or the other.

I've just had similar problem with new sonos roam.

I have a play 1,3 and 5, 1st gen on S1. Roam only works S2.

I disconnected S1 items, loaded S2 app, set up new sonos account with Gmail address, added roam and Google assistant.

Reconnected S1 items and can now run both systems separately.

Not a problem with roam as I can use it independently outside, just won't link with rest of system.

S1 system linked via Alexa app.
