Hi

we are experiencing some GA issues with our sonos setup.

We have a kitchen (1x play one) and a dining area (2x play one in stereo).
The rooms are next to each other and it is very easy for all speakers to hear the “hey Google” trigger.

If I ask a question, I would expect the closest room to reply, but both rooms reply and generates sort of an echo

Is that how it is when it is not native Google speakers?

Yes and No...Hit and Miss...by design it should happen that way but one way to handle this would be to go into the google assistant app and set the “Hey Google” sensitivity down a notch Its located at the very bottom in settings.

It happens with Alexa also. 😂

It’s really annoying. Couldn’t figure out if it was a bug or as intended 😅

pretty sure the Google nest speakers measures which speaker that is closest before answering
