Why Sonos has google assistant but won’t let me play Apple Music, accounts appear to be linked correctly

Looking at other similar past posts on this issue, the thinking behind this in the community here appears to be that when Apple/Google agreed and shared their music/voice-assistant services, it did not include any 3rd-parties, such as Sonos and others in those sharing agreements.
So ‘perhaps’ this is something that needs to be negotiated and agreed separately - which presumably is either still to happen, or it may possibly be implemented at some future date.
No announcements from any parties however have been forthcoming so far, so it’s really anyones guess if this will happen, but fingers-x’d 
that it will… er …that’s if everyone agrees to share in order to benefit their own Customers.
