Why was my question immediately removed?

I asked a question in the community, very technical and with no concerning language, however it was immediately removed with “page not found”.

Cannot find Sonos+Ikea SYMFONISK system after changing to a new Wifi router

As a guess, given that you say it was extremely technical, it got caught in the robot ‘spam’ filter, and will require review by a Forum Moderator. It’s unfortunate, but the are occasional false positives in order to keep this forum ‘clean’ from spam.

In fact, it appears to be there now, it must have been reviewed and reinstated. Your link seems to work for me now.

Cheers for your reply. I’ve re-posted as I had it saved in notes. The second one went through no worries. Maybe just a glitch. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve never been able to understand those automated filters, and what they trigger on. I am, however, happy they exist, as I imagine they capture a lot of spam. They certainly did on forums I used to be responsible for.

That’s a fair point. I can only imagine. I’m happy that it wasn’t just deleted and only held for moderation. Plus, I had a copy of it in notes. I think I would be more upset if all that was lost.

Given the length, I can appreciate your concern. I’ve had occasional posts lost (mostly due to crappy internet), so I tend to be terse in my posts, just so I don’t have to type a bunch again ;)
