Sonos- please, please, please fix the new app. I have two houses and have invested thousands of dollars in Sonos equipment. The app is so incredibly slow that I cannot use my Sonos equipment. It sometimes takes as much as a minute for the system to respond, if it responds at all. 
 

I understand that major mistakes have been made rolling this out. It is obvious that it was nowhere near ready. What I cannot understand is why it is taking so long to fix it. The responsible thing to do is to roll back to the old app and for you to go through a proper testing before releasing it to the public.
 

I have a theory as to why you won’t: you have rolled out your new headphones and only the new app will support them. Rather than delay the headphones you have decided that it is more important to sell your new hardware. This is a strategic blunder. Out there there are headphone users who are having the same lousy experience. This is very short sided. 
 

Is it a wonder that your stock is down 25% in the last three months? You now run the risk of pissing off shareholders. (I WAS one up until two weeks ago- I sold because the product is now TRASH). 
 

This is an existential threat to your company. Do the right thing and pull this app and give us back the old app while you fix it. If you don’t you will run off your loyal customers. This will result in lower sales and further stock losses. 
 

I’m seriously considering pulling the plug and selling all of my products. I’m sure there are others.
