Wow - Is SONOS really forcing us to go out an purchase new a smartphone , to replace an existing perfectly functioning phone, if that phone can no longer have it’s OS updated to a version that SONOS is now saying it doesn’t support?  How does one use the $1,800 investment in SONOS sound equipment if you don’t?

This really took me by surprise today.

Sonos don't make phones so have no incentive to oblige users to buy another one.

This is about Apple and Google stopping support for older versions of their OSs, meaning the phone cannot keep up with ever increasing demands.

Does it come as a surprise to you that the cause of phone  obsolescence is the phone manufacturers? Please show some sense.

If your old phone runs iOS, go get SonoPhone from the Store. It runs on pretty ancient iOS versions.
