What the hell is going on it’s obvious the new app sucks because the phone lines are blowing up and I can’t get thru how can I get the old app back?

I Agee!!!!!! I just posted on another thread about this. I’m an AV systems integrator and sell Sonos, ( Or maybe used to sell Sonos). I cannot understand how they could come out with such a terrible updated app, why in the love of God would they change what worked so well. I looked like a complete idiot when setting up a client’s new system recently while using this new app for the 1st time. NOT intuitive at all, and this is coming from someone that has been doing this for 25 years. TERRIBLE!!!!

I understand there are bugs in the app at the moment that would likely impact on the initial setup of a system.  There was a tranche of fixes that came out yesterday and more will follow.  I don’t really understand the description of the day to day operation being unintuitive — coming from the previous app it is different but even so, it only takes a few minutes to learn your way around.  In terms of  general layout, I always hated the old app and much prefer the new format.  Of course I’d like it more when everything is fixed.


I’m in the business and I have many unhappy customers so spending quite a bit of extra time that I can’t get paid for and dealing with many unhappy clients. Plus, I just tried to set one up and there was no way for me to set the Sonos port to the volume and it fixed output. At least I couldn’t find it anywhere. I don’t know if this is a bug, but I need to have it resolved because this is to some of my AV set up.
