Some Sonos Playlists are missing the header cover art.  The ones that have this issue are the ones where the firsts tracks in the Sonos Playlist are from my local library.

Android? Album art doesn’t work from local libraries on Android.

I’m on IOS.  The local library art on IOS is only missing when in the queue and also the effect it has on Sonos Playlists as shown in the first post.  I use album art a lot when scrolling through the queue to find something.

Those playlists in the first post screenshot with missing header art are missing that art because the first tracks in that playlist are from my local library.

It’s a bug on iOS, as you discovered related to tracks that reside in the local library. They show correctly in the recently played section.

The big one though is the fact that the queue does not follow the music progress.  I can be playing the 150th track in the queue and when I open the queue it’s still on the first page.  Come-on!  This is music control point software 101.

My local library queue shows correctly, if the app has been unused for a day then it takes a few moments to refresh but otherwise fine. My relaxing playlist has about 100 albums so a good 1,000 tracks and that’s without issue.

Best to call Sonos support to work out what’s causing the lag as that unrelated to the artwork not displaying on the playlist placeholder.
