After a total of approximately 6 hours and 3 days of phone calls w Sonos, 2 hours with Spectrum/Charter and 5 different techs.....My Sonos is still not connected to the wifi and closing remarks from last technician was there is an issue between Sonos 1 and Spectrum and you can Google it to read about it......I told him Sonos should read it and FIX the issue for their customers.

Anyone else have this issue?

Sorry to hear your Sonos system is not working on your WiFi despite all the time spent with our support trying to resolve the issue.

As far as I could make out, there are certain Spectrum/Charter router models that have been a problem for Sonos systems, however, this has been addressed and worked on with our partner. The latest firmware on the affected models should have your Sonos run smoothly.

Perhaps, have a look at the last email you received from our support.

Mark good to hear but your technician said otherwise and again spent over 3 hours w 3 different sonos' technicians and they could not fix.  Please call me to fix....Thank you


Does your router allow you to separate the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands?

You should consider getting a different router/modem. I use this Motorola router with my Spectrum internet service and it works great with my 17 Sonos devices:
