Since S2 exists if problems with the app on all of my devices iphone 10 - 12 iPad Air  

  • it takes long before the app  has started up 
  • it takes long before I can see the content (grey) of my home. 
  • many times I can not move the volume slider so I need to kill and restart the app.

this all is very frustrating. 
pls help. 

Could be any of several issues. I’d first look at the wifi interference FAQ. Then I’d move on to set up reserved IP addresses for all my Sonos devices in my router. 

If neither of those resolve the issue, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of recreating this issue, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
