I read the community blog most days - passes the time.

Seeing all of the sometimes agonized comments prompts me to say that I have been a Sonos user for several years, have updated and upgraded the software and hardware as needed, I use several different Mac systems and a Synology NAS to access Mac music, Audible books and other books on various local library files.  It all works and has caused me no trouble over the years.

I added a Roam, worked perfectly first time, and continues to work as advertised.  The Soundbar update was easy.  Adding new Sonos surrounds was also a breeze.

I am not a Sonos, Mac, Network or It specialist, I just follow the instructions, and, guess what, it works!

Hi. Good post. You and millions of other users, I am sure. The nature of the forum is that attracts the tiny proportion of users with problems or complaints. Even among this group, many are trying to do things that their Sonos speakers just aren't designed to do.

Given the huge variety of network setups and routers around, I find it amazing that Sonos works without a hitch as consistently as it does.
