You need to use a different app. Sonos’ support promised me that they would re-instate the local library function mid-June, but considering the many problems with the app I could easily imagine delays. And, honestly, why remove the feature in the first place if just to bring it back as it was? So, it probably will not be as it was.
Nevertheless, I have sent back my new Sonos device and use only one of my old S1 devices - until it will be replaced with something Roon Ready. Roon is the app I have chosen, which I find is many times better than the Sonos app - and it allows for combining devices from different brands, making the whole system less fragile, less prone to be bricked by weird behaviour from one vendor’s side.
You can find other apps that will help you play your library on your Sonos devices. There are several of them, and maybe one will suit your needs. Good luck with your search.
