Lost trust in Sonos

I bought my first Sonos product 10 years ago and always recommended it to family and friends. I have owned a Play:3, Sonos AMP and my current setup consists of a Beam + Sub with multiple Symfonisk speakers. I have planned to extend it with a Move or Roam for the garden and my caravan, but after the last update, I lost the trust in Sonos completely.

I was fine with Sonos decision to enforce user registration to use their speakers. I was fine with Sonos cutting of old products and splitting into S1 and S2 app (after massive shitstorm). But after loosing basic functions, I recognized I spent thousands of euros on products I am not owning. My next speakers won't be smart.

They seem to be betting the farm on the release of the Ace headphones and I suspect they require the new app. The thing is the people that are most likely to buy an overpriced set of Sonos headphones are existing super users of Sonos. I can’t see any of these users forking out for these now given Sonos’ appalling software release and subsequent arrogance in not listening to users requests to have the old app reinstated.

Where is my library? It took me years to build and now it has disappeared because of the abysmal new app
