Using the output selector at the bottom of the phone app I can turn on and off each of the room speakers as well as adjust the volume.

  1. WHY can’t I add the mini-sub to the output selector?

I live in a townhouse and have the sub turned off most of the time out of respect for my neighbours. But turning the sub on is a long process requiring many steps.  It would be SO easy to turn the sub on or off from the output selector rather than to go searching into the room and then tap and scroll to find the EQ, then the sub… you know what I mean.  It's a long way to go to get to the on/off button.

I understand that the sub is connected to the “ROOM” but regardless the sub should be able to be adjusted on the output selector.

Hey @Gref38, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry about the delayed response.

Not the reason for the delay, but I had to set-up my Sub mini to check and see how cumbersome it is to switch a Sub off/on. Totally agree with you on that one, it’s way to long a path to follow. Perhaps a shortcut to the EQ settings on the Now playing screen would be ideal. Personally I think having a Sub in the output/room selector would make it more confusing.

Anyhow, I’ve marked this thread as a feature request to be shared with the relevant teams for their consideration.

If you have any other ideas or features you’d like to see added to Sonos, please post them here on the community.

I understand what you Say about it possibly being confusion, but that’s why I also suggested a toggle in the sub controls that wouldn’t allow users to choose to see that slider.

If it’s confusing, then make it go away.

If it’s helpful, then toggle it on and it will appear.
