Does anyone else really struggle with the design decisions around the volume control.

Aside from the issues with grouped volume control, I just really struggle with making 1% volume adjustments at lower volumes. Drag to adjust is only good for bigger changes, and at lower volumes (say less than 10%) it’s almost impossible to successfully tap to the left of the volume position with my thumb.

The inability to use the iPhone buttons is frustrating, and I know you can use them on Android, but suspect that’s an Apple thing. I wish the design was just more thoughtful. I end up muting the speakers half the time.

Anyway, this is all rather predicated on the app working to play music at all, which for me is still a one in three chance it does first time.

Slide all the way down, tap to the right.

Thanks @jgatie, good shout. Still a bit frustrating though to have to essentially fully mute the audio and then press say 8 times just to be able to drop 2% from 10%…

I use the Sonos to play music to help my kids get to sleep and just don’t have the energy to faff around with volume adjustments!

My ideal would be if they just added the ability to tap to the left or right of the centre of the screen underneath the volume slider to adjust the volume. Best of both achieved!

Thanks for the feedback though, will give it a go.
