I have been adding to my 7 or 8 playlists for years since my son-in-law gave us Sonos as a present when our music centre was finally obsolete.  Since the new app I can’t find any of my playlists and I can’t remember exactly what I had.  My choices dated back to early sixties and if I can’t retrieve my playlists I won’t have any use for our Sonos any more.  What has happened?  Did someone forget ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’?  I am devastated and heartbroken. I am back to using a personal CD player and my neighbours hate the fact they can’t hear me singing along to old favourites when I’m in the kitchen cooking.  Please change it back to how it was.

Do you run the app under IOS or Android? If the latter then you have the option (with a bit of messing about) to revert to version 16.1 and it will (probably) go back to how it was.

Oh thank you so much. I am not sure how to do this but I will get my son-in-law to help me when he's back in the UK. I am very grateful to you.

There are other threads here that describe the process step-by-step, so you should be able to find one of those. I’ve reverted mine to 16.1 and it works just as it used to, but you need to make sure that you don’t allow your system to auto-update - because if that installs new firmware on the speakers you will probably be unable to revert the app to 16.1.

So… turn off auto-update in the app if you haven’t already!
