Question

Can't edit a queue on iphone app.

With previous versions, I add a song (play next, add to end of queue, or delete).  With this new version I can’t do that. The new ‘replace queue’ options is not what I am looking for.  I use to be able to make changes see it in the queue, and even save that modified queue.  Am I missing something here?

Not missing anything.  The release was half-baked.  See below for a schedule for fixes.

Thank you!  Wow, they would actually deliver an upgrade with a major ‘basic’  feature like queue modification.  I have been a software designer, developer, and test leader for many years.  The right people are not on this bus.  Someone should loose their job for this horrible ‘ground up’ upgrade.

Does that include the que options for IOS? I have the latest SW for both my iPhone and windows desktop. I have the add to end of que with my desktop BUT not on my iPhone??? Very frustrating.

Same, missing queue editing features are absent on Android version of the app also (queue session rearranging, deleting, and clearing).

GOOD NEWS, however, I noticed they have restored "Play next" and "Add to end of queue". Prior to that you could only "Replace queue.

There are several other missing features that I've chronicled on other threads, but I just learned of another one; under "Services", our TV is no longer listed as a source for speakers. My TV plays through an Arc, and I can add other speakers to my "Family Room" Arc/Sub speaker which is playing TV audio, but I'm unable to go to a different speaker and source the TV independently, because TV is not listed as a source/service.

Rolling out a half baked “ground up” app is nonsense.  At least ‘since the weekend’ on IOS they rolled out next and add to end of queue.  However, the app is slow, and sometimes I select the add to end, it is not responsive so I do it again and I end up with two of the same additions on the queue.  Still can’t delete from or rearrange the queue, I find myself waiting for a song to finish playing and then selecting the next song I want to play. A prisoner of the SONOS!

I stick with what I said in an earlier post.  The person responsible for rolling this update out should lose their job.

I now add to the end of a queue (yay!!), though I still can’t see what’s in it or perform any edits. Baby steps, perhaps. Please fix the rest this cruddy app soon!
