I just want to vent my anger and dissatisfaction with any geniuses that think what they are doing and the direction they are taking Sonos. What are you doing? You have now made Sonos a commercial, advertising nightmare. In the beginning Sonos was designed for ease of use and simplicity. A Simple Connect Box and a stereo system were all one needed. The desktop app was simple concise and fun. Imagine entering a Radio Station URL Naming it and the station started playing and also was saved in favorites. Commercial free URL’s from excellent radio stations around the world. Now you force me to have to go purchase a smart phone to use the apps anymore or to set up a system. You abandoned me You changed what the founding people designed as a unique fun and user friendly free app and service. Now You are requiring me to suffer through using commercial apps (Tune-in) “Sucks” by the way. Interruptions with their commercialism. You know for the price of a cell phone and a carrier service I can purchase amazing Bluetooth Speakers that stereo pair with each other Use a free app to stream any URL I desire and rid myself of your demands to comply with features alien to me. You abandoned me I didn’t abandon you. I wish you would at least allow us to play URL’s through the desktop app even if it is only using the S1 app and also make it possible to set up the old connect box that was so simple and user friendly back in the early days of Sonos. Well i hope you at least respect my feelings and don’t just shrug your shoulders and say another loser who can’t comply and keep up with the times. I’m on Social Security and really not only because of finances but also out of the I do not want or need a cell phone period. I have good internet and a good computer I’m more than content.

You do know that your post from 3 years ago is still visible. This post is just a rehash of your same commentary from then.

Looking at your posts history, @kdotsey, you seem to have many years of frustration, disappointment and dissatisfaction with your Sonos products and the environment/infrastructure to use them.

Is it time for you to sell them and move on? In an earlier post you had a mobile phone, but now you say that you’ve ditched that. You say in several of your posts just how great your little Bluetooth-capable speakers are. Why not just continue using them, rather than your Sonos devices?

Those Bluetooth speakers sound great.  I’m definitely interested = please would you post make and model numbers?  Thanks.

I couldn’t get through the wall o’ text to even see the Bluetooth speaker mention.
