organizing library playlists alphabetically
This may seem like a stupid question. We build playlists by playing our library and deciding on songs for our playlists ie. dinner, upbeat, bedtime list etc. Sometimes we hear a song and can't recall if it's in a playlist. We add it to the appropriate list and then go to the list to discern if we have duplicated the song in the list. The problem is we can't organize the playlist alphabetically by song, artist or album. The library comes up alphabetically but not the play lists. Is there away to organize the play lists to identify duplicates?

The answer is "probably no". Sonos doesn't have the rich music management capabilities of music managers like iTunes. Sonos playlists are good for basic playlists of "10-20 songs in a fixed, curated sequence".
However, if your playlists are imported from elsewhere (or you're using playlists from a streaming service) then you'll have whatever playlist-editing capabilities that tool/service gives you.

Thanks for the answer and the idea of using another editing app.
Just remember that Sonos playlists can only be created/edited on your Sonos within the controller app (and can't be exported). But they are an easy option for local library playlists, and a good solution for when you want to mix-and-match songs from different sources (eg. local hard drive and Spotify). Where you source your music from will determine your creating/importing playlist options.
