Since receiving update from Oneplus on an Oneplus Nord this morning (10.5.7.AC01BA) the app won’t display the controls in the notifications area; notifications are “on” both in android settings and sonos app.

Found people with same problem on different Oneplus devices here => https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/issues-with-new-sonos-s2-app-on-7t-pro.1237688/

Hi @xlr23, thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. We are aware that notifications are not working on OnePlus devices as expected when using it in the S2 app, and thanks for letting us know. Our engineering team is working to address the issue and it will be addressed in a future software update. The alternative as of the moment is using a non OnePlus device. Rest assured that we are doing our best to improve your experience with the app and Sonos products. I’ll send you a private message so once the issue is fixed, I can send you a message about it.

If you have other questions with your Sonos products, feel free to reach out.

Ok good to know it’s being investigated !; from reading oneplus forums this bug is present since early june at least.

Hi is there an update in this issue? It's quite annoying. I used to be able to adjust the sound by just using the volume controls on the phone, or skip songs, without unlocking it but that's gone since a few months.

There has been a recent improvement on the alarm functions where the alarm screen now shows up again (and the time on the screen isn't stuck on the time of the alarm anymore), but no 'permanent' notification when something is playing in normal use. Make sure you add a OnePlus device to your QA testing! 😜

@alex67500 @xlr23

This is fixed for me now after updating to S2 app to v12.2 , dated 02/11/2020.

I’m using a OnePlus 6T on OxygenOS v10.3.6

But as per our team, we are still waiting for a fix for this issue. It might be included on the most recent update. But everyone can try if it will fix this issue.

I can confirm, the permanent notification is back, and I can use the volume buttons on the phone without turning it on, back to where we should be. Thanks!
