Desktop vs phone apps

Hi Sonos -

I am increasingly frustrated by differences between the desktop app and the phone one.  I hugely prefer to use the desktop app - largely S1 because, as an early adopter I have at least ten Sonos products to control.  It’s also an age/vision/dexterity thing.  I have a large music library, about 35k tracks, and navigate using the Folders tab.

BUT, it’s not available in the phone app to navigate neither On This Device nor the Music Library.  Please see if it’s possible to make this aspect of the phone app match the desktop app.

Thanks,

Ian.

PS It is of course possible that I am missing something.  If so, please show me how.

You can access your music library through the Sonos app on your phone:

You can play music stored on a phone over Bluetooth to a Sonos Move or Roam or music stored on an iOS device using AirPlay:

Hi GSS -

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply.  Apologies, I didn’t make myself clear.  What I want to do is navigate the directories on my phone from within the Sonos app as one can navigate the folders on a PC from within the Sonos app on the PC.

You can. Just choose folder view in the music library on the phone.
