Hello.

I am having trouble with acessing my Sonos Connect from my Android phone.

The S1 app wants me to uppgrade to S2, naturaly. But i can’t get passed the upgrade-message to continue to use the S1 app.

The reason i do not want to use the S2 app, is that it can’t find my system.

It says that Sonos S1 is not compatible with my system.

But The Sonos Connect should be compatible with S1.

Or am i wrong?

Any advise is appreciated.

The Connect is indeed compatible with S1 (unless it has already been upgraded to S2)

Before I suggest possible actions, do you have any Sonos apart from tne Connect?

Thank for replying.

No, i only have this one Connect.

OK thanks. I suggest the first thing you try is to uninstall the S1 and S2 apps. Then download the S1 app for Android again. If it gives you an option to connect to existing system then select that option.

If it does not give you that option, download the S2 app for Android and see if that gives you a connect to existing system option. If it does then select it.

Please post back as to what happens.

Hello, and thank for your reply.

Reinstalling the S1 did not help.

But after Reinstalling the S2, i got a tip on how to make it work on my wifi.

So after disabling the Apple-related services like Bonjour, the S2 now works as it should.

And my problem is then solved.
