Since the app update, I can only get Sonos to play one song at a time.

Example: head to my tracks in my collection on tidal, select a track, it plays the song and then stops. It used to carry on playing through the list.

Example 2: Search for a song or an artist, find a playlist, head to that playlist, select a song to start from and it plays the song but no more after.

It used to just carry on playing.

Even when you go to artist radio or song radio from another area, The same thing happens.

How do I fix this?

Thanks

Yep me too. Tempted to throw this POS on the bonfire.  Only have it to play classical music from IDAGIO. Now can only play one movement of any given album or recording at a time and I can’t even see the wretched PLAY button when i want to select a new album.  Just appalling.  Want my money back!

Same issue with my products. Only playing one song at a time from an album using Spotify. That's after several attempts to select only certain speakers that I want on.

Having to power off and on my speakers anytime I want the things to work.

An utterly dreadful app that is driving me up the wall.

Get it sorted Sonos!

When I try to play a recommended list of tracks, Sonos just keeps replaying the first track. Been this way for a while now. No word of fixing the issue. Come on Sonos - this must be a simple fix!!!

Do you perhaps have track repeat enabled in the Sonos App?

Problem not limited to one streamer. Apple Music is doing one-track only here as well, in a medium size 1-level house with good fiber internet, all on wifi, no SonosNet, and controlling from either latest iOS or good ole’ S1 on macOS having tested both modes of repeat ...on Sept 26, 2024. Happening in more than one speaker but in particular in a Sonos Ray bar with 2 Sonos Play 1s as surrounds in my office. I like crossfade (level 12) thus prefer playing from Sonos app (airplay won’t allow for crossfade from my not-so-old ipad mini). Also I put all my new albums of the weed (Fridays) on one temporary Sonos playlist, thus the notoriety of this one-track-only issue.

Will something be done about this? All points to (as many say) abandon the Sonos app and start using Airplay exclusively, which uses electric power on more than one machine and may suffer interruptions on my phone’s notifications or phone calls, plus no crossfade, and IMO it seems to defeat the purpose of the ‘former’ Sonos environment.

Are Sonos decision-makers reading any of this?

I have a pair of One SL’s set up as a stereo pair. They recently stopped playing Apple Music after one track too. Hopefully there’s a fix soon. 😞

Now in October, can still only play one track at a time in my liked songs in tidal, what is happening? Thought fix in summer. Getting close to exploring other systems at this rate, despite Sonos being good to me all these years

Whilst waiting for a fix, would they perhaps work if you created a playlist for those tracks?

I should point out that for me that when this happens, the song keeps playing in the Sonos app but no sound comes out of the speakers. If I play a station on Sonos Radio to the same speakers, the issue doesn’t occur and the radio plays all day. It only seems to happen with Apple Music.

I subscribe to Apple Music and have a stereo pair of One-SL’s, but I’m not seeing the issue - do you have them stereo paired? Have you tried them standalone, or pairing them the other way around to see if that may resolve your issue? Maybe see what happens if you try them in a different location, nearer to the router.

I run my speakers on my 5Ghz WiFi band FWIW with SNR levels showing in the Sonos App of 51dB & 57dB.

Hello, recently noticed the same issue using Apple Music through the Sonos app and that it would stop after playing one song. I have an individual, student account on Apple Music. We have it linked to multiple devices (phones, google home, Tonal, et cetera). If you have an individual account Apple Music limits it to one device at a time leading to the only one song being played. Once I made sure that another family member was not using it, it resolved the issue. Not sure if this will be helpful to anyone.

My setup: Sonos arc, two subs, and two Era 300s

Similar issue. I tell any of mydevices running google assistant to play something like 90s hits on my sonos, and it plays 1 song and stops. Same command to a google speaker or speaker group and it’ll play a whole playlist.
