Our iOS Sonos Application is on Sonos OS = S2; Build: 80.07.03+20240819.7fd7da0dd

It looks like the Sonos Amps are on Build: 80.1-56190

I’ve already done a “check for updates” and my system is up to date. We continue to experience MASSIVE issues...to the point that it is unlistenable. The start up of music takes a bit of time, then when it starts, it is playing in whatever rooms it wants to and not the ones we’ve selected. It will play intermittently, then be okay for a while, then go back to its odd behavior.

These issues started happening when Sonos rolled out their big update. When will these issues actually be fixed? Super frustrating and makes a system we spent several thousand dollars on a waste of money.

The iOS App was updated just four days ago. Generally it’s working very well now and fast but appreciate some still have issues.

What you are describing needs to be looked at by Sonos support, give them a call.

@hennessey619

Latest iOS App is 80.09.05.

But I’m not sure if that will solve your problems. Sounds more like network issues to me.

Just updated the app on my iPhone. The update wasn’t available until now, so thank you for the heads up.

We never had one issue with this system until Sonos rolled out all the changes. I work from home in IT and have pretty good WiFi setup. We never have any issues with streaming either. I’m pretty confident it isn’t a network issue.

I’ll see how the new release works. ✌🏻

I updated the iOS App and things are better...not back to the way it was, but at least it is better. I’ll plan on giving Sonos Support a call to discuss this issue along with the missing playlists from my music library. What a fiasco this all has been! ;-/
