When will the horrible app be fixed? Each and every time when i try to either play or stop playing, it's not working. I've gotten message that there's no music in my que while the music is playing loud from all speakers and I can't turn them off. Error message Something went wrong when I try to play. Some of the speakers are not possible to adjust the volume for when they are playing. The list could go on forever. I bought Sonos with the assumption that it's a premium brand, but was I fooled. 

Can you explain your home network please?  The new App has changed the way it communicates to devices and some non supported networks that used to work are now displaying issues similar to yours.

One device connected by wire. Mesh network with high speed. WPA2. Anything else?

With a wired device you are using Sonosnet for all compatible Sonos, not your Wi-Fi. You might unwire and see how you do on Wi-Fi instead of Sonosnet.


Sonos support is Absolute rubbish, I have tried LAN, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi over mesh etc and the app is a POS when to buy a Sonos ray today for the TV and thought naaahhh.

 

They ruined the app whatever they did, non responsive or if you tried to do something and it doesn’t respond then it might skip three songs or put the volume up higher depending on what you pressed on you phone or tablet.

lets be go eat they haven’t fixed anything it’s gone from a great product to a POS.

Agree with everything you have said.  Sonos have taken their brand and trashed it.


I’m having the same problems through the app. The weird thing is that i found their web app for pc this evening. guess what. my system work flawlessly when using that. can someone explain that? Here’s a link to the web app. Works on phones to if you change to desktop version in setting. But the ui is not very phone friendly. https://play.sonos.com/en-us/web-app
