Are there any plans to ever fix this issue with Mytuner or Tunedin radio.

Alternatively can  you not add this to the Sonos Radio.

This is very poor customer services that this has not been fixed.

You might need to describe what “this issue” is?

Hi @gs1982, welcome to the Sonos Community!

As @controlav said, we’ll need some more information on what the issue is, and what should be added to Sonos Radio. I gave those myTuner Radio and TuneIn a test on my system and they’re able to play without issues, excluding the geo-restricted stations.

If you’re having issues with playback or missing content, then I’d recommend reauthorizing the service (or removing and re-adding if you can’t) by opening the Sonos App and going to Account → Content Services → myTuner Radio/TuneIn → Connected Accounts → Reauthorize Account.

If you can’t reauthorize, then select Remove Service instead, adding it back to your system after.

I hope this information helps!

Hi Jamie,

Thank you for your reply, I have tried your recommendations and it’s still not working

It does appear to be certain stations that won’t play.

Example below, you press the play button but it won’t play.

Are there any logs I can gather and send you?

Kind Regards,

You are in the UK, you are not allowed to stream foreign radio stations, following a lawsuit.

I am in the USA and have no trouble with this station, on the iPad or my own app.

Sorry, but that answer is simply wrong.  It is true that some operators of aggregator software have been stopped from including overseas stations (TuneIn, for example) because they were selling advertising off the back of the streams they were including.  However, it is not true to say that we in the UK are not allowed fo stream overseas stations.

Several aggregator apps continue to work. Specifically, MyTunerRadio has apps for ios and android, and these continue to operate allowing access to most overseas stations from the UK. So I do not understand why the version of the app for Sonos does not.  Yes, of course I can AirPlay the stream from that app to my Sonos system, but that’s hardly the point, is it?

All Sonos does is point to a server operated by myTuner. If there is content not playing on the Sonos connection, the issue is on myTuner’s server, and not Sonos.
