Has anyone had issues with TuneIn since the app update?

 

I updated the iOS app today and TuneIn wasn’t working, I removed it from my service and went to re-add it only to get an error message each time telling me to check my network connection.  
 

My network connection is fine and other services are playing no problem. 

Status page says it is broken.

The app doesn’t recognize my Play speakers that are merrily playing away on the same network as my iPhone is using. 
I checked my network with IP scanner and all addresses are visible. Restarted my iPhone and still no luck. 
Superficially this is the same issue that has been happening intermittently for many months - not seeing what’s on the wifi network. Before todays update it was working. Restarting the modem isn’t reasonable IMHO…


I had to reauthorize my TuneIn account under ‘Services’.  And then I added each TuneIn station back into my Favorites.  Lastly, I deleted the original saved TuneIn station (which wasn’t working in the new upgrade.
