I couldn’t get Sonos to stop playing pandora. After unplugging everything it would resume pandora even though I had paused on the app. I deleted Sonos and pandora apps to get it to stop.
After reloading the Sonos app, it can’t find my products , even though when you first go to settings you see all my products for about 1 second until it says no products found.
I could not get it load, said it was not compatible with sonos2. I reloaded original Sonos 1 app. It only loaded one product, a gen 1 play 5. Then, it told me that my play 1s are not compatible with Sonos 1. This after Sonos 2 told me not compatible.
Long and short, I only have one of eight products that will successfully pair with the system, though all will let me go through the green light/ orange light/ switch to Sonos temp WiFi , then says not compatible.
Crazy part, if I go to pandora that I had to reload , it has every speaker available to me EXCEPT the play 5 that Sonos let me load. I can only use them with pandora and do not have any individual control, just volume as a group.
Sonos chat said I had to call, called support TWELVE times and after going through the process of creating a diagnosis code, I get disconnected before anyone answers- sometimes after as long as an hour on hold.

help? Anyone ? Or is this entire system just a brick now?

Have you factory reset anything?

Are any of your speakers wire-connected or are they all operating wireless?

As the last resort I factory reset all speakers. No change resulted , including the display of all the components for a second on app start up. All are wireless, though I did connect  a play one to Ethernet to try to get it to be found/added. It made no difference in the process compared to wireless.

Same here. They can’t be found on the network according to the app, yet I can see them on the network via the router. Support blames me having not enough bandwidth, even though I get over 100m & nothing else using the internet apart from Sonos.

At a total loss since this new app.

Same issues here.  With the new app my system is invisible.  Cannot find any of the 7 devices (sub, beams, amp, ones, move2) just searches endlessly.  Great work Sonos…we invest in a system that turns utterly useless with a factory issued update.  Brilliant.

Just a guess here, but if you had reset your speakers and the components displayed for a sec on the app, it might be a cache on the app. You can try wiping the app data to be sure. On Android, long press on the app icon, then click on App Info, Storage and cache, clear storage. This will completely reset the app on your phone as well. Sorry, but I can't help on iPhone.

Thank you. Yes, same process on iPhone - press icon until it asks to delete then it tells you it’s permanent and you’ll lose all associated data. Click agree and it’s gone, then you start over again reloading the app.
