Since the half decent App update everything has been chaos here. Music library disappeared and now, finally, after the lates update 16.2 (MacOS), at least the possibility to add a Music Library is back.

But I can’t do it. I’m back where I was when I replaced my Asus NAS with Synology. A massive googling effort and a lot of trial and error finally got me on the right path? What I did? Can’t remember.

This is what I try now:

\\Brooklyn\Muscle Shoals\Lossless

Response: error 1001

I also tried

\\Brooklyn\\Muscle_Shoals\Lossless

Response: error 913

Suggestions for a solution?

OK. Solved myself. SMB 2 and 3 is apparently something Sonos now recognize. That means I now can play playlists which most of them contains music from my own library. However, I have to use my laptop, i my phone there is no such thing as personal Music Library and Playlists...

Some have found that if they close out the app completely and restart, the library shows up on mobile devices.  You can also try to reset the app and reconnect to an existing system.

Hi @Matsh, are you “signed in” to your Sonos account on the new mobile app? That seems to be a requirement in order to see your local library, which is counterintuitive.
