Nice list castalla how do I get it working on my Sonos play1 1st gen?
You follow the instructions here to add a radio station by URL:
https://support.sonos.com/s/article/260?language=en_US
Ibiza Sonica - http://94.75.227.133:8136
Ibiza Global Radio - http://37.59.254.24:8024
Blue Marlin - http://94.75.227.133:8635
If you can find the stream, you’re normally given the option to download the M3U file or something like that. When I opened the M3U for Ibiza Global Radio, the contents look like:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,(#1 - 402/750) : Ibiza Global Radio :
https://37.59.254.26:8024/
#EXTINF:-1,(#2 - 408/750) : Ibiza Global Radio :
https://37.59.254.24:8024/
#EXTINF:-1,(#3 - 410/750) : Ibiza Global Radio :
https://46.105.171.218:8024/
#EXTINF:-1,(#4 - 410/750) : Ibiza Global Radio :
https://37.59.254.31:8024/
#EXTINF:-1,(#5 - 414/750) : Ibiza Global Radio :
https://37.59.254.28:8024/
#EXTINF:-1,(#6 - 417/750) : Ibiza Global Radio :
https://46.105.171.217:8024/
#EXTINF:-1,(#7 - 441/750) : Ibiza Global Radio :
https://37.59.254.27:8024/
#EXTINF:-1,(#8 - 447/750) : Ibiza Global Radio :
https://37.59.254.25:8024/
Just take one of the URL’s and change it from HTTPS to HTTP and it should work for you. Added stations appear under Radio by TuneIn > My Radio Stations
Thanks all,
I just logged back in to say that I found if I downloaded Radio.net app, search Ibiza Global etc etc saved and then linked Radio.net app to my Sonos account it plays as normal!!!
My Spanish internet radio stations are no longer working in the UK. These include Blue Marlin, Ibiza Sonica, Ibiza Global Radio, Costa Del Mar - Chillout.
All other TuneIn stations from outside the UK seem to be working fine and Ibiza Sonica is steaming fine when you go to their website.
If you search for Ibiza Sonica in the Sonos app it comes up as a Sonos Radio station but won’t play.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Thanks
Matt
Hello Mate
I believe its because TUNE IN have allocated the stations to PREMIUM paif for service...perhaps very popular stations theyre now.making u pay for...so theyre there of u go premium on Tune in
Thanks for your response but other friends in London are having the same issue so I think it might be something less localised...
Ibiza Live Radio add like this, works a treat :)
Add New Radio Station
Tune in > My Radio Stations > Add New Radio Station > Add this url and give it a name: Ibiza Live Radio
https://streams.radio.co/sdc9cfaf77/listen
Use Add a radio station in the Sonos app - add http://94.75.227.133:8136
This plays for me - Ibiza Sonica
they cut me off again. does anyone know working Streaming URL for Ibiza Global Radio?
Sonos any idea how can I stream directly from their app? Or do I need to update my Play 1 ?
Yeah, it screwed for me too.
I’ve had to modify the streaming url to the below:
http://ibizaglobalradio.streaming-pro.com:8024/
at least with it being a URL like that rather than IP, if they change servers should still work.
good luck!
people talking about radio.net here, all I get is an error about not being able to browse anything when I use that app.
Ibiza stations here: https://www.internet-radio.com/search/?radio=ibiza
You need to check the m3u or pls file for the actual stream url.
….
I’m going to set up the radio stations direct in the Sonos app as various people have suggested above now if I could work out how to do it! Can’t find ‘Add radio station option’.
Using the Sonos App for iOS or Android:
- From the Browse tab, select Radio by TuneIn
- Tap My Radio Stations
- Tap the three dots in the top right and tap Add New Radio Station
- Enter the Streaming URL and Station Name and tap OK

Awesome cheers. I don’t know how I’ve survived this long without Ibiza Global Radio
Have you added TuneIn to the Sonos app? You need to register on the TuneIn app first.

Yes I have. I also readded Sonos Voice Control to my Sonos One’s. I reauthorized both Sonos Radio and Apple Music as well.
Edit: It’s not just Spanish radio stations, I noticed SVC can hardly find any station.
Mrpedros thank you very much It’s working.
Can this be done from IGR original web site? Maybe the sound quality would be better ? Or from their app?

Thanks JJPen and everyone else on this string. The Radio.net workaround has got Ibiza Sonica back on stream here. And my withdrawal symptoms are easing
ALSO YOU CAN ADD THE SERVICE RADIO.NET AND ACCESS IBIZA GLOBAL RADIO VIA THAT....JOB DONE !

No worries. And not as far as I’m aware. That URL was taken from the M3U file I got to stream directly from their website, couldn’t find another address :(
Similar problem here. Our much-loved "ABC Lounge", broadcast from the south of France has disappeared from Sonos. I haven't got to the bottom of it yet, but I suspect it is something's to do with TuneIn Radio. The ABC Lounge output still exists on various platforms, but we cannot get it to work on our Sonos system, It is very frustrating. I am going to read the above suggestions very carefully and see if there is somebody way round the problem.
Here’s the m3u link :

Hi, I found this thread looking for the same reason why these 3 radio stations have ceased to stream on TuneIn. I guess with Covid-19 and maybe something to do with Anna Tur being asked to leave IGR, as director. IGR owns the frequencies that Sonica and Blue Marlin use (I believe).
This might be worth a shot… Excuse the naivety, I’ve only used Sonos a couple of times, but it streams via Wifi, so this may work.
I use Chromecasts, so I was a bit miffed when I saw they’d gone. Although, there are dozens of other similar and great stations for Ibiza on TuneIn. Search ‘Ibiza’ in TuneIn and save a few after listening, or Google ‘Ibiza radio stations’ to add. For example ‘OpenLab’ is a great one, as is ‘Ibiza Live Radio’.
Download ‘VLC Media Player’ or ‘LocalCast’ (other similar media/network players available).
For VLC, copy the first IP > go to ‘stream’ in the menu > paste the IP in > and voila. You can then save it and make a playlist. Repeat for the other 2, adding to that playlist.
Ibiza Sonica - http://94.75.227.133:8136
Ibiza Global Radio - http://37.59.254.24:8024
Blue Marlin - http://94.75.227.133:8635
From here, you should be able to choose your network player of choice to stream to… Sonos/Chromecast.
Apologies if this isn’t possible with Sonos =)
Just use Add radio station option:
Ibixa Global - http://37.59.254.24:8024/

See Anna Tur's Instagram post. Read for all the English talking folk, Espanol in words.

Hi Matt, while staying in another country outside Spain, I was able to listen to Ibiza Sonica via TuneIn but it stopped the streaming of another Spanish station via TuneIn, that I was listening to on another Sonos device. I had to switch back from Ibiza Sonica to the other station to get it started again on TuneIn. Maybe this give you a clue.
Have you contacted the stations directly? I have to wonder if they haven’t implemented geo restrictions.
