Sonos is unable to access our Soundtrack account...

We’ve run Soundtrack on our Sonos system here at the brewery succesfully here for a number of years and now we are unable to access our Soundtrack account. Waited on hold 15 minutes and once I finally got connected to a human being I got cut-off and disconnected after giving him my diagnostics file number. On hold again now, not a happy guy. Anybody got any advice to offer?

Try the Desktop app as it works way better than the mobile app.

Also what exactly do you mean by “we are unable to access our Soundtrack account”?

It’s running on an ipad tablet and has worked without issues for almost 3 years. Nothing changed on our end at all, to my knowledge. The phrase in quotes above is paraphrasing what Sonos has to say. Spent almost 90 mins on the phone with Sonos techs trying to sort it out but no luck.

As a brewery/business I’d expect it to be this:
https://www.soundtrackyourbrand.com/apps-and-hardware/sonos/

https://www.sonos.com/en-gb/business/legal-music

They are a streaming provider who specialise in providing legal commercial streams to businesses classes as public venues, rather than home users.

In different countries they can cover some licenses, or all licenses a business requires. In the UK for example Public Performing Licenses need to be obtained by the business and the Soundtrack subscription covers the remaining two. In the USA the Soundtrack subscription also includes the Public Performing License.

I understand what Soundtrack is and why you use it.

I don’t understand why it doesn’t work for you: does it not show in the app? Does it fail with some kind of error message when you chose Taylor Swift? Does your iPad explode when you tap on it?

Please, just tell me what exactly is happening/not happening.

And, I say again, use the Desktop app for now until the s-show of a mobile app is fixed.
