Today I rushed through a change to my companies financial reporting system. Unfortunately it caused a considerable number of users to be locked out. Those that weren’t locked out had massively reduced functionality. It caused absolute uproar amongst our user base, they were not happy at all!

Initially I thought I had been utterly incompetent and was deserving of the sack. 

 

However, it turns out I wasn’t being useless at my job. I was in fact being “courageous”. I look forward to telling my boss this on Monday. I might even ask them for a pay rise.

I just want to use the app to play music in different rooms. I can’t, and I’m pretty sure that’s the main point of the app to play and control their products. And when people are like wow this app sucks it doesn’t do what it should, like simply play music like previous versions it’s our fault!
