Sonos controller on MacAir

Every time there is an update to the Sonos Controller on my MacAir it fails, despite updates to Mac OS as well.  The only suggestion I get from Support is to uninstall then reinstall.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  Is there a bigger problem or something in my setup?  Thoughts anyone.

You should authorize the “Sonos Installer” under System Settings > Privacy & Security > App Management.
