I recently purchased a used Sonos amp and having connected to it last month through the Sonos app it is no longer working.

when I log into the Sonos app to try and reconnect the amp the app gives me a message advising I need to login as the owner?

There have been several threads reporting this behavior. Some of them have been successful in transferring the system to themselves. I’m not sure what would be going on there, but it is worth a shot. Otherwise, you may need to call Sonos Support directly to discuss it. And I think there are longer than average wait queues right now, based on posts I’ve seen.
