When - a few times per week - Sonos produces zero search results I restart the Sonos app (iPhone) and then it works again. Been like that for a couple of years I guess. No big problem…

No. You shouldn’t have to put up with this behaviour. If resetting the app doesn’t help (choose Connect to Existing System afterwards), I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.
