I just purchased a new MacBook Air with Sonoma 41.5 and cannot find a Sonos app in the App Store. I’m running S1 Sonos system. Is it supported on this platform?

The application for the desktop machines is not in the various stores, you need to download them directly from Sonos.
Only the iOS and Android stores have the Sonos applications.
