remote access to local network?

I’m confused about the new web app. How does this work? Does Sonos have access to my local network, and when did I give my consent for this? Isn’t this a to be considered a data breach? How do I revoke this?

I agree.  The ability to access and control your complete Sonos system remotely should surely be something you explicitly authorise and as a minimum have the option to mandate two factor authentication.

That this has seemingly been added with no further details isn't right.

I’m finding it hard to believe this feature was added without asking for authorization. It really needs to be disabled by default.
