Hi there,

I am a Sonos user since 2010, very happy regarding this solution.

Actually I have to tell the the S2 app is not work properly in the last months; volume is not working on S2 app (on spotify yes..), and almost every time I try to connect on my network the app says some room is missing, or is not possible to contact a speaker...in the meantime Spotify is working fine.

There is anything that Sonos SW eng could do to fix all these issues?

The experience on the app is becoming really bad, lately… @sonos? Could you help?

Tks

Hello,

I recently spent at least an hour on the phone with a tech assistant trying to resolve issues with connectivity since updating the S2 app. My two play 5’s were working fine on the old S1 app and eventually the assistant managed to connect the rest of my system (play 1, 3, bar & sub) with the new S2.

My system was turned off for a few days but then the same issues returned i.e. not connected.

Trying again on my own, the play3 was eventually connected via a cable to the router but does not appear in my system? If I try to play music, I get a caution that just says…..Something went wrong!

I have been consistently using Sonos speakers for more than 10 years with the older S1 & S2 apps.

Please fix the issues that myself and others are experiencing with the new S2 controller.

Hi, after upgrading to the latest S2 app, nothing works on the app now, I can’t add services like Spotify, Sonos favourite, add radio stations etc… nothing can be added and error message is always something wrong, check internet connection when my Sonos are playing music!

what is wrong with the latest S2 app? Please help, thanks!

Sounds like your system may be helped by setting up reserved IP addresses in your router for all your devices. Or, you may be impacted by wifi interference .

You could potentially check to see if the first option would help by unplugging all your Sonos devices, then rebooting your router. Give the router a couple of minutes before plugging it back in. If that does help, then setting up reserved IP addresses is a much more ‘permanent’ fix, as it might return to the ‘broken’ state at some point.
