Is there a way to edit my current playlist? More specifically, I am trying to change the order of songs, or delete individual songs. That used to be possible on the prior App version but has disappeared in the new one. 

Waiting to hear back on this… can’t even play a song next. Who the hell tested and approved this app🤦🏾‍♂️


This is really a pain the … neck. This just beyond bad, is there a way to go back to the prior version of the app? Please SONOS , get it right before you issue it 


No sleep timer and can’t edit playlist. They have sucked all the functionality and joy out of my Sonos experience. I still have the superior old controller on a computer, but  Sonos wont’ let me use it. They have made the product far worse. And what are the improvements?

Do you still have the old app on a PC, Mac or a wireless device? You can edit the playlist with one of them, then restart the ne app to see the changes.


Ridiculous that this functionality has been removed.  The ability to reorder a playlist or play next has disappeared.  Really frustrating - put you off using Sonos for listening experience 


Anybody know how to add a song to an existing sonos playlist? I have not been able to understand how in the new app...


Disappointed with new app especially not able to edit playlist whilst playing and way its laid out .Last version (gold one) was excellent and very intuitive. Hope they will take the best of that version and reinstate in this new one 🙏

I don’t know how Sonos stays around after this latest update. It is so bad that I’m looking for alternatives. So frustrated that I just put Sonos speakers throughout my house. LET US ROLL BACK THE UPDATE!!!

Don't fix something if it's not broken. I'd really like to edit my created playlists. Terrible app upgrade.


The app needs to be deprovisioned.  It is utterly useless.  Let’s go back to the old days when Sonos was a brand worth investing in.

Yeah, they weren’t telling the truth. It’s now Sept/Oct, per the latest published schedule of fixes.

What a load of crap. Really?? This is actually so annoying 


Id say a competitor bought sonos and trying their best to ruin the company , its impossible to release software this bad. Impossible. Its been deliberately made terrible.

Yes, as mentioned, it will be Sept/October. Could be as soon as next week, could be as late as October.


Wow. I wonder why was that functionality taken away in the first place, I mean this is really basic….


Especially as it was an option shown clearly in the app menu in the new app’s promotional video back in May… So either Marketing was given a version that they subsequently pulled before launch, or they created a deceptively finished version for the video, knowing those functions wouldn’t be there.


Are we any closer to knowing when it will be possible to add songs to existing playlists? It seems incredible that it’s still not available.

Playlists or queues? Because although the OP uses the word “playlist” it seems from the context that what they really mean is queues.


 Yes, queues.  Then Save as a playlist just like it was in the pre-May app.  Not sure why it was not implemented from day one.
