I can't connect my Play 3 speakers ( or boost) to new app. Done multiple factory resets. Anyone know if this is another bug? Can't get hold of support unless prepared to wait 70 minutes plus on phone.

I got hold of support via chat eventually. Turns out there is a bug so that if a Boost is connected the new system won't connect the speakers. Hours could have been saved if they'd just mentioned this in the roll out of the nightmare that is the new app. So now I just have a useless boost and can't add my 2000 CDs on  a personal library and that's progress in Sonos land.

That’s interesting. What error were you getting with the BOOST connected?

Did you try reconnecting the BOOST after re-adding the PLAY:3 to see if it made any difference?

Speakers wouldn't connect . Sonos support said a known bug so haven't tried to reconnect.

‘Wouldn’t connect’ covers a wide area of issues, but I’ll try to figure it out.

Basically the system would not let the speakers join . Wouldn't even find them after multiple resets. Support got me going but took hours

‘Find them’ meaning that your controller device wouldn’t connect to their generated WiFi network, and then after that a failure to find them when connected with an Ethernet cable, or something else?
