New Speaker not working in controller app - iOS

I was able to add my new Era300 via the iOS controller app.  I can group the new speaker manually by holding play/pause but I cannot play music to the speaker from the app, it just continually goes to the next song until the end of the playlist. My other speakers are working as they should.

I saw the workaround to transfer the network to myself, which I did but I was not having an issue with the app crashing, as it added the speaker to my network without issue.

Is the Era 300 far away from your router? You might try unplugging the Era 300 from power for about a minute and rebooting your router and phone.
