I don’t know what you are experiencing, but from my point of view, Sonos took a perfectly good working app and screwed it all up.
The new Sonos app almost makes my system unusable. It rarely identifies all my speakers, rarely connects to the speakers I want it to, and, when I try to control the volume it is almost completely ineffective.
Being a tech person, I know these are software glitches that can be easily fixed with some resources and effort but Sonos does not seem to want to do that.
Unless it is fixed, in a year or so when I choose upgrade my system, Sonos will not be on my list of options.
