Ive always found the Sonos system cumbersome but have managed to negotiate around but now my new phone cant open the sonos system at all. Ive tried everything but no luck. Any suggestions?

Not really much to go on in your request, so some broad suggestions. 

Make sure your phone has its WiFi turned on. Make sure the phone is connected to the same subnet the Sonos system is on. If you have a mesh network, try connecting a Sonos speaker directly to your router with a cable. Make sure your network conforms to the information in the Sonos Network Requirements FAQ.

Have you called Sonos Support directly to discuss it?
