Does anyone have any idea how you manage different rooms on iOS now?

The Sonos app, on my iPad defaults to the first alphabetical device but then refuses to switch to a group playing on another device. It works ok on Android. I say it works ok, it’s a stupid number of button presses but I can do it.

I’ve no idea why it would always have to default to devices alphabetically, rather than the last device used as it used to, but it seems strange you can’t access other devices that are playing.

I press the device button, get a list of devices, uncheck the one I don’t want, check the one I do want, press apply and it returns to the one I don’t want.

Same infuriating problem… music only plays in downstairs speakers. Should I disconnect and reconnect?

It’s a bug unfortunately. The new app is a buggy POS.

It’s not on the list of things getting fixed for May or June. Buy maybe it gets fixed then, or maybe it doesn’t cause Sonos has been silent on a lot of these bugs

it makes the system unusable … can’t imagine this would have been an issue in the a recoded, released app ...

I suppose it would work to go back to earlier version???
