I have my Sonos system which is generally pretty stable. Today I got the dreaded “connection to Spotify was lost” error. Diagnostic number is 591945114 The Connect I was using at the time is wired.

I’ve had a look into the diagnostic you’ve sent and it seems to be a general DNS lookup issue with Spotify. While you could look into adjusting the DNS settings on your router, I wouldn’t recommend this as a first step, instead I’d recommend rebooting your router by turning it off for a few minutes then back on.
This should help clear up the issue you had.
