How is it possible that a complete new version was allowed to be released unless Sonos thinks, the easiest way to fix this mess is to release it and let our loyal customers tell us what’s wrong! This update is an absolute shambles, almost every time I use the app it says there is no system, then after another try, it’s “oh, yes, there you are” but then, there’s only half the icons working, unbelievably slow volume change lag, none of which was ever an issue with the orange S2 version so sorry Sonos, you simply can’t keep blaming customer’s wi-fi connections. In no way is this app easier to navigate, it has less features and being a long standing Sonos customer with 8 units, you really feel trapped and fully at their mercy. If you still have the orange S2 app, DON’T UPGRADE, change your settings to manual update. I would like to know why it is not possible to downgrade back to the old App whilst this utter nonsense is sorted out. Remember what happened when you discontinued the S1 app and expected us all to just pay for new systems again! This was quickly reversed when so many of your loyal customers complained. In my opinion, it has happened again. Revert, and make it snappy!

The situation is indeed a bit of a mess, but does it really need another thread started? I rather think Sonos are aware of the strength of feeling about the app.
