Is it shocking how terrible this system is

I mean, how is it possible this is so awful in 2024? I won’t even get into the fact that my old stuff has to remain separate, but the process of downgrading the software of something to S1 is asking to programming a moon landing. Not to mention the constant losing connection, terrible app, etc etc. 
I work in audio and I literally tell anyone who asks to run away from Sonos. I’m stuck with it because I have two units that cost a lot of money, but I’ve been sitting here for an HOUR trying to downgrade the software on a unit. It won’t let me sign  in, then won’t see it, then i have to reset for the 254th time.
