I changed to the new App in my iPhone and since I have, it has become unusable. It is so unstable forever crashing, one minute OK then can’t connect to my music library saying something went wrong then the next try it does, or saying it can’t find my system or no products found and then randomly going back to the home page.
I NEVER had an issue with the old app, it was stable solid worked every time. I have tried re-setting, I have deleted and re-loaded the app, I have also re-booted my router but nothing works. Even as I am typing this, the app on my phone keeps flicking in and out, one second connected, the next not with products not found.
This has been an absolute disaster and when I try and go back to the S1 app it will not allow me to.
What I cannot understand is that the app on my Windows 10 laptop works a treat, connects immediately to my system, and my library on my NAS and just works.
Sonos were/are meant to be one of, if not the best in this game, but with this they have become worse than second rate. How can you release such an important and integral product to the controlling of the whole Sonos kit with so many faults and is so unstable?
I was a big Sonos fan, I still have a Play 3 and two Ones originally having the old CR200 hand-held controller, the bridge and the old connect too and was intending in investing in the Sonos Port to take its place, but there is no way I will be buying another Sonos product unless this app issue is sorted.
For a company delivering a premium product at a premium price, this is simply not good enough.
