How the heck do I wipe out my account and start over

I have factory-reset all 10 of my sonos speakers.  I want to start installing over as if I never had any sonos speakers.   but the app keeps saying “let’s find your missing speakers” like it still knows I had them.

 

how do I remove all references to my speakers and start over?   It seems dumb that I’d have to “abandon” the account and sign up with a new email address.

 

I see many emails where people ask and answers are “why do you want to do that” or “you shouldn’t have to do that” -- I don’t care - I WANT TO FULLY REMOVE THEM from my account!

Did you also reset the controller app? 

BTW the players will remain on your Sonos account until they’re registered to a different account. This won’t affect the setup of a system afresh.
