Honestly, it sounds like they’re discussing volume control using the hardware volume buttons on a phone, and have posted in the wrong thread. We did indeed use a “hack” to get round that (we played silence constantly), but were asked not to do so. So, no - I think on that thread, they are inaccurate.

Although I have heard nothing at all regarding the return of widgets or the notification bar media controls, I believe the notification bar media controls will have to return for alarm snoozing to work properly. I think it’s safe to say that widgets are lower priority.
